Obituary of Gladys E. Blair

Gladys Elizabeth Blair, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was 98 years old. A private family service was held at the Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Interment followed immediately after. Please share memories with her family by clicking the link below. Gladys was born and raised in West Orange where she lived for most of her life. She met and married Otis Blair and the couple started their family. Gladys worked as a secretary for many years at Simmons Precision in Cedar Knolls. Upon retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending summer months at Lake Ontario in Canada. She was a devoted mother and wife who loved to sing and always enjoyed a good laugh. Predeceased by her husband Otis in 1992; she is survived by her three daughters – Lauren Hendren, Susan Blair, Jan Bizub and son-in-law Tom Bizub. She is also survived by her five grandchildren – Ian, Tom, Tim, Kathy, and Matthew, and two great-grandchildren.
