I knew Betty Lee for 55 years. After attending camp from Robin to CIT, I was hired by Betty Lee for her camp staff. She was my first manager and the best manager I ever had. She taught me most of what I know about how to manage people. She knew how to get the most out of people and how to allow them to grow. She was always there to give advice or help solve a problem. I tried to provide comfort and encouragement to her over the past few years. She was my friend, mentor and confidante; and I will truly miss her.

I will always remember Betty Lee who inspired all of us to be the best we could be. She could tell a story to make us laugh until our sides would split. She could get us to do the unimaginable- sleeping in a pup tent in the field in the middle of winter, hand-sewing an American flag, even helping to deliver a calf. She just had to say "I need you".
