The first memories of Bob are early grade school ones around Indian Lake. I remember bike rides, lots of laughs and hikes to Snake Mountain. I also remember his mom and dad's generosity when they'd invite me into the cool of the cellar to taste the sweet homemade pickles. Prayers for his peace. Prayers for the family.

I am so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. I have thought of him often with fond memories. We attended Morris Hills together and spent many happy times together. He will be missed by many of our MHRHS group. My prayers and best wishes to his family.

I would like to add my condolences to the Leith family on Bob's passing. I was also a member of the Morris Hills hockey team and remember Bob as a great guy who loved the sport. I am sure all of the team members from 1960 through 1962 remember Bob the same way. He was a very popular team mate. I also honor his service and salute his sacrifice for our country. Rest in peace Bob.

To the Leith Family..... So very sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I was a classmate of Robert at the Main Street School & at MHRHS. Robert was a wonderful guy & a great friend. I visited with Robert 2 weeks ago along w/ his buddy Frances Maher & Donna Williams. And we left some photo's of him from our childhood days. Rosalie Somma/Jenny

I meet Bob in the 6th grade at Maine Street School in Denville. We were very close friends all the way thru M.H. R.H.S. I moved to Texas in 1961 and lost contact with him. At our 40th class reunion, Donna Lien told me where Bob was at. Since that time I went to see Bob 4 times with two other class mates. My last visit was around April 1st, 2015. I have all great memories (wood shop in 7&8 grade, soccer, x-county and track in MHRHS) of him. Thanks for your years of service with the Marines. May your rest in peace FRIEND Francis Maher
