Obituary of John B Munro

John B. Munro passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family, on March 19, 2015, at the age of 90. Born and raised in Two Harbors, MN, John has spent majority of his life raising his wonderful family in Denville. He is a proud Marine Veteran, with his grandson, Connor, following in his footsteps. John was a man that was very good at working with his hands and loved to do wood craft. He also enjoyed gardening, boating, fishing, and golfing. His favorite animal was horses. He was an incredible husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on in his family. John is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Ellen M. (nee O'Hern); his adored daughters, Diane Carroll, Laurie Borshard, Rhonda Krupna, Jacqueline Munro, Joanne Flood and the late Ellen P Munro; his devoted sons, John B. Munro and Robert J. Munro; his cherished 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and his siblings Agnes Wolfe and the late Raymond Munro. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Funeral Service will take place at Norman Dean Home for Services on Tuesday, March 24th at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
