To the McBryan and Bernstein families: I would see the McBryans at gymnastics meets, both near and far. I could see that John was a dedicated father and grandfather who supported his family with his presence and involvement. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

Always a kind word, a comforting smile and a sincere how are you doing. A true pleasure to speak with and be around. Elinore and family may the good lord reach out his hands and carry you through this tough time. Marcella has lost a treasure. If there is anything the Will family can do please let us know. Jeff

Dear Ellie, Lynn, Kathy and family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers. John may have been my Brother-in-law but he was really the brother I never had. There wasn’t anything that John wouldn’t do for you. I’ve known John since I was 16 when John and you first started dating. I have a lot of happy memories of how John used to tease me about a boy friend I had and about learning to drive a car, etc…, John was a wonderful, kind, sympathetic and funny man (oh and great bowler). He had been through a lot over the years and was such a trooper. We will miss him so much. He loved you all dearly and will always be with you smiling down from Heaven. When you feel down pull out your happiest memories and smile, that is what John would want you to do. Mike and I are here for you if you need anything please let us know. Love you all.

My deepest sympathies in John's passing. I knew John for about 15 years through the credit union. He was a very warm and easy man to talk to. Business conversations turned into 3 hour discussions. He will be sorely missed.

I've known John for over forty years, and every time I saw him, he always had a smile on his face. If ever you wanted to talk,he would stop whatever he was doing and listen to you. I'm going to miss those times, but most of all I'll miss a good friend.

I have known John for only 2 short years as a teammate on Thursday nights at Rockaway Lanes. In the anchor of our team, John became a friend of mine. Any advice he gave me on my game was taken as from a coach. As an usher at St. Cecilia's Church I would also see John on Sunday's at the 10:45 am Mass. He always had a smile on his face.
John will be sorely missed by his friends and his teammates. John probably has already entered a bowling tournament in the kingdom above. GOD BLESS YOU JOHN McBRYAN.
Your friend Marty
