Obituary of Gary J Davis

Gary J. Davis, 60, died on Sat. Dec. 10, 2011 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA.
He was born in Ellenville, NY and grew up in Rockaway, NJ and lived in Hampton (Hunterdon County) NJ before moving to Gainesville, GA. In 2004.
Gary was a Masonic member of the Blue Lodge in High Bridge, NJ, F. & A.M., as well as a past member of the Tri-County Motorcycle Club in NJ.
Gary was in the graduating class of 1969 at Morris Hills High School, he worked for 6 years at McWilliams Forge in Rockaway where he apprenticed under his father Joseph. He was the Facilities Manager for NY Life Insurance Co. in Clinton, NJ before moving to their Alpharetta, Ga. Facility for 33 years from 1979 to when he retired in 2009.
He was the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Symonette) Davis and is survived by his wife Nancy L. Schmauser, as well as his three brothers Richard Davis of Wawarsing, NY, Chris Davis of Hackettstown, NJ, and Bruce Davis of Key West, Fla. and his sister Kathy Clark of Rockaway, NJ.
A funeral service will be held on Friday Dec. 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Rockaway 35 Church St. Rockaway, NJ.
He will be buried on Saturday December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Furman Cemetery on Yagerville Road in Wawarsing, NY.
