Anthony "Tony" Spino, 90, died on Monday June 21, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ.
Tony was born in Yonkers, NY and grew up in Morristown, NJ before moving to Denville in 1974.
He had served in the US Marine Corp during WWII.
Tony worked as a Church custodian for St. Margaret's Church and for the First Presbyterian Church both in Morristown, before coming to St. Mary's Church and School in Denville in 1974, where he was still working.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lucille J. his children Theresa Sofield of Bradenton, Fla, Anthony and his wife Sandy Spino of West Lake Village, CA, Joseph Spino of Orange Co., CA, Patricia Spino of Whiting, NJ, Robert Spino of Denville, Michael and his wife Stephanie Spino of Bradenton, Fla. and Richard and his wife Beth Spino of Landing, NJ, as well as four grandchildren, Kimberly, Nicholas, Christopher, and Meghan. His Granddaughter Amy Welsh passed away in 2007.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Monday June 27, 2011 at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Mary's Church in Denville,NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
