I met Chuck only a few times, but everytime he was very welcoming and really sweet. I am not sure if it was Genie who said it or Jack, but where asked to share our experiences if we had any. The morning after his wake I was driving to work and the car in front of me had a licence plate the said C Chuck, which blew my mind, and wanted to share that with everyone. Rest in peace Chuck!

Tom and I will always remember our trip to the sweat in PA with Chuck and Elle. Chuck was so thoughtful and as it was Tom's first sweat, explained what we to expect and what it all meant. It was a deep spiritual experience for us all. The four of us have a wonderful bond and Chuck gave his love to us freely. He was a great teacher and a warm friend. We love you both and Chuck will remain in our hearts forever. Love, peace and light to you Elle. xoxo

In the brief time I knew
Chuck I saw him as a beautiful being; smart, fun and an absolute delight to talk with.
I was really looking forward to spending more time with him and Elle. His physical Presence will be greatly missed, but it was his spirit that I fell in love with. And that part of him will always be a part of me.

Not often in one's life do we happen upon one of the truly "Great Guys". We miss you Chuck, and we will never forget you. We are grateful for all the special times we spent together with you and Elle - whether it was the good times at Bosphorus with your Kosher wine, or Sogo, or at the Knicks games whether they won or lost, or some wonderful Thanksgivings where you shared your music with us - we will always continue to be uplifted by your hearty laugh and your pure enjoyment of life. And let's not forget how much more terrific Mom's birthday celebrations were with you and Elle there. We want you to know that we will always look after Elle - we know how much she meant to you. Words alone could never be sufficient - you will always be in our hearts. We love you.

Chuck taught me tai chi and was my massage therapist for a number of years. He was a truly spiritual man and great teacher. Whenever I would show impatience, or skepticism, Chuck would simply say "when the student is ready, the master appears".
