Arthur Kenneth Bonnet, age 71, of Rockaway, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, CT. Born January 22, 1939, in East Orange, he was the son of the late Arthur and Helen (Cronrath) Bonnet. He was a graduate of Irvington High School and Upsala College. Arthur worked as a teacher for the city of Passaic for over 40 years, retiring in 2002.
He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Barbara (Bader) Bonnet; children, Amy (Matthew) Walencik of Rockaway, Bethany Bonnet of Rockaway, Kara Johnson of Gilbert, AZ, and Eric (Tracy) Bonnet of Battleground, WA; grandchildren, Abraham, Anna, Madeline, Gwendolyn, Nathan, Liberty, and Drew.
Relatives and friends may visit from 2-5 pm Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Services will immediately follow at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
