Vincenza "Cookie" McDonald, 53, of Denville joined the Lord Saturday Feb. 13, 2010. She was born in Jersey City and grew up in North Bergen and Lake Parsippany. She has lived with her family in Indian Lake for the past 18 years. She looked forward to going to work everyday at the Lakeland Hills YMCA where she worked for many years at the front desk and in the child care center.
She is predeceased by her sister Lee Lindabury. Survived by her husband Bruce, sons Nicholas and Anthony and wife Terri, and her sisters Cheryl Tornatore and Roseanne Miller.
She had been active in the Indian Lake Community Club and the Denville Rockaway Women's Club where she had served as a co-vice President.
A Memorial Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass will be held on Thursday Feb. 18, 2010 at 2:30 PM at St. Simon the Apostle Church on Green Pond Rd. Green Pond, NJ.
