I was Bob's 1st secretary in Denville, we both started new the same day. We had a great relationship during work and out of work. He was always very patient and kind. When I told him I was expecting my 3rd, he immediately said, "There's room in the office for a crib."

I will miss my Uncle Bob more than words can say. He was a very special part of our family - for many reasons. Not only did he baptize me and my brothers (and many of our children), but his spirit and his zest for life touched us all. Being around him always lifted me up as his kind heart, love and laughter were contagious!! I always knew I would walk away feeling reinvigorated after talking to him - he had a special "magical" touch with people that is rare in this world.
My thoughts, prayers and love go out to Gretchen and the rest of the family. I will always treasure my memories of Uncle Bob. A very special man indeed. XOXO

Gretchen and family: I know God is with us because it always seems that when you need comforting, advise or love someone appears, they are called the angels that walk amongst us - Bob was an angel. During one of his wonderful sermons he mentioned that he always thought he would be a jockey because he was small - I told him I never noticed he was small - he was never small. He will always hold a place in our heart - rest in peace sweet angel.

My deepest sympathies to Grethen, Merideth and family. Rev. Meloney has always held a special place in my heart. So much of my believes took foundation in discusions with Rev. Meloney when I was a teenager in Mt. Tabor. I remember challenging the "miracle" of feeding the 10,000 with a loaf of bread, and he said "don't miss the message Margie, the miracle was that those who had a very small amount of food for themselves were willing to share the little they had with strangers." He had a wonderful way of putting things in perspective. He will be greatly missed.
