Obituary of Edward M Lake

Edward Lake, 84, of Denville, passed away on Thursday, April 18th. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25th from 7-9 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Denville Fire Department, 2 Indian Road, Denville, NJ 07834. After his schooling, he was drafted into the US Army, where he proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. He later met and married Lorraine Neumann, and the couple settled in Indian Lake. Edward worked as a postman in Denville for over 25 years. When he wasn’t working or at home with the family, he could be found at the Denville Fire Department where he volunteered much of his time. He truly loved his time with the Department. Predeceased by his wife Lorraine; he is survived by his children Greg Lake and his wife Michele and Cheryl Simonis and her husband Andrew; his three grandchildren Zarron Simonis and his wife Holly, Arielle Simonis and Brian Lake; and many other loving relatives and friends.
