Obituary of Rose M. Zurzolo

Rose M. Zurzolo, 70, passed on July 5, 2008 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.

She was born in Oppido Mamertina, Calabria, Italy. Upon her arrival in the United States she and her husband Vincenzo settled first in Brooklyn and then Queens, NY and the last seven years in Rockaway Township, NJ.Her children considered her a super mom, her friends a devoted friend and her husband a loyal wife. She kept an immaculate house and was an incredible cook.

Her mother Nancy, father Rocco, stepfather Jimmy, and aunt Giuseppina predeceased her.

She is survived by her husband Vincenzo, her sons, Sal and his wife Meryl, Jerry and his wife Mary Beth, and Vincent, her delicious grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, and Dylan, her brothers Rocco and Joe, sisters in law Judy and Gail and her numerous nieces and nephews and Cousins.

Her funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com (please light a candle in Rose’s memory on web site), on Wednesday July 9th at 8:45am for a 10:00am Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St, Bernard Church. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
