Obituary of John A. “Jack” Geiger

John A. Jack Geiger passed away on August 30, 2003 at his residence. He was 79 years old. Born in Newark, he had lived in Bloomfield for 70 years before moving to Parsippany one year ago. He had served in the United States Army during WWII. He is a graduate of Seaton Hall University (1948) where he earned a degree in Accounting. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Ambulance Unit, Rescue Squad and Special Police. He was also a member of the Bloomfield Civil Defense and the Parsippany Emergency Management. He was a volunteer at the Mountainside Hospital. He is Pre deceased by his wife, the late Jean B. who died in 2001. He is survived by his son and daughter in-law Jay A. and Joan Geiger. He is also survived by his grandchildren Daniel and Christina Geiger. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:00PM. Friends may visit on Tuesday evening from 7-9PM
