Obituary of Dean Anthony Fordi
Dean Anthony Fordi, 63, of Boonton, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Dean was born in Jersey City in March 1961 to Anthony and Jacqueline (Potts) Fordi. During high school, he began working at Pathmark, and unbeknownst to him, began a career there, working his way up to Store Manager.
Dean’s biggest passion was music, collecting more than 1000 albums over the years. Rock, funk, and electric funk were some of his favorite genres. He was an enormous Beatles fan. He also devoted time to rooting for the NY Mets.
Please join the family in honoring Dean’s life on Saturday, December 7 th from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Cremation will be private.
Dean is survived by his son, Jace Dean Fordi; his brother, Thomas Fordi; his sisters, Jacqueline Gilchrist and her husband, Robert; Kelly Fordi; and Ariana Estrada; his ex-wife and friend, Marguerite Freeman-Garcia; many nieces and nephews; and friends.
