June C. Paris (Carey), 89, a resident of Lincoln Park, NJ for 33 years, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024. June was born to William & Louise Carey (Rost) and raised in Boonton Township.

Mother of Donna Maron, Glenn Zagorski and his late wife Marilyn Zagorski, Craig (Nakia) Zagorski, Karen (Zagorski) (Dan) Crochery, Ron Zagorski (Judy); stepmother of Robert Paris Jr. (Holly), Marie Ponnwitz (John), Beth Ackerman (Keith), Edward Paris (Cathy), and Margaret Cocozziello (Steve), and loving grandmother of 18 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert J. Paris; best friend / twin sister Joan Tucker, older sister Dolores VanderBrink, and her ex-husband Ronald Zagorski.

June and Rob were married July 27, 1984 and celebrated 32 years of love, and the love of their family together. They also shared many happy years with family, friends, their car club and their 1931 Model A Ford. They further enjoyed Nascar Racing, while cheering on their favorite driver, Ryan Newman. They enjoyed attending Sunday Mass and meeting up with family and friends for breakfast afterwards. They also enjoyed many long weekends in Atlantic City.

June especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Very Special “Nana” to all of the grandchildren. She first worked as a telephone operator for NJ Bell Telephone Co., was the co-owner of Mar-Ed Delicatessen for many years, and later worked as a bank teller.

June will be remembered for her kindness,  teaching her family about the value of family, and giving from the heart.

A Special Thank You to Friendship House, Victoria Mews, and Ennoble Care – Hospice for their loving care.
