Obituary of Barbara Miller
Barbara “Bobbie” Miller passed away at her home in Mt. Arlington surrounded by her family on September 22, 2024, at the age of 86.
Born in Denville, NJ where she spent the majority of her life, she had moved to Mt. Arlington, NJ 20 years ago.
Bobbie was a graduate of Morris Hills High School, Class of 1956. She worked as an Administrator for Nabisco in East Hanover, NJ where she met her future husband Frank A. Miller and was married in January of 1978. The two would travel worldwide extensively together. She was a longtime member of the Indian Lake Community, and was a leader/avid volunteer at Succasunna United Methodist Church. She was also a dedicated participant of her High School Reunion Committee. Bobbie was elegant, stylish and graceful. She loved flowers and the beauty that surrounded her, but her biggest passion in life was her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents Dan and Florence Kelsey, and by her devoted husband Frank A. Miller in 2004, as well as her adoring siblings Joyce Lusardi, Judy McCarter, John Kelsey and David Kelsey.
Bobbie is survived by her loving children Scott and wife Janet Prideaux of Randolph, and Michelle and her husband Kent Harris of Broadlands, VA. Her cherished grandchildren Lauren and her husband Matt Freix, Lindsey and her husband Ray Augst, and Skyler Prideaux as well as her great grandchildren Olivia Freix and Grayson Freix also survive her.
A memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday September 28, 2024, from 11:00AM to 1:30PM, followed by a religious service at 1:30PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com.
