Obituary of Al Parzanese
Alfred A. “Al” Parzanese, 70, of Denville passed away peacefully on September 19th, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Al was born on January 31st, 1954 to the late Louis Parzanese and Anna (née Poole). An honorable mention goes to his Uncle Eddie Parzanese who he had credited with raising him. He grew up in Newark, NJ and was a graduate of Barringer High School. It was often said you could take the guy out of Newark but you couldn’t take the Newark out of the guy. Al worked as a plumber for Essex County Parks and Recreation Department for 30 years before retiring.
He married the love of his life, Lynn S. Parzanese (nee Steinhilb), in 1979 and has resided in Denville since 1981. The two built a beautiful life together. They were married for 35 years until the unfortunate passing of Lynn in 2015. His family finds peace in knowing that they are finally together again.
Al is survived by his loving children Anthony Alfred Parzanese (Kelly), Nicole Ann Parzanese-Sullivan (Ryan), and Daniel Vincent Parzanese. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughters Madison, Chelsea, and Caelynn.
Memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday September 25, 2024, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834, www.normandean.com. Graveside services will take place on Thursday September 26, 2024, at 9:00AM at Denville Cemetery.
