Obituary of Kelly A. Setters

Please share a memory of Kelly to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kelly Setters passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. She had shared 61 years of unconditional love, infectious laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Kelly was born in Passaic and grew up in Clifton before moving to Denville. She was the daughter of Patricia (Kaplanovich) Arduino and the late Eugene J. Arduino. Kelly was a graduate of Morris Knolls High School, Class of ‘81. She began her career while in high school with the pharmaceutical industry. She had a successful career with over 30 years with Warner Lambert/Pfizer as a Corp Event Planner.

Kelly met her best friend, Gary Setters, and they were happily married for 38 years. They enjoyed summers at the Jersey shore and Florida’s beaches. She was known for her sense of humor, love for animals, and referred to as “The Queen” by friends and family.

Although we are deeply saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved grandmother Sophie Efchak. Kelly is survived by her husband, Gary Setters, furbaby Gus, Uncle Alex (Ronnie) Kaplanovich, Aunt Kathy Kaplanovich, sisters; Brenda (Roger) Joinson, Elaine (Anthony) Mayone, Mother-in-law Carol (Len), Brother-in -law Lee (Tamalyn), Sister-in-Law Robin (Joe) many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th from 2 – 5 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 4:30 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. She will be laid to rest privately at Denville Cemetery.
