Obituary of Edward Alan Lash

Edward Alan Lash passed away, in Mount Arlington, New Jersey, on Monday July, 29^th, 2024. He will always be remembered as a loving brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Edward was born to the late Edward and Helen Lash in Denville, NJ where he grew up. At a young age Eddie began his career owning his own business building homes. He built beautiful homes all over Morris County for nearly 55 years. He was so proud of the forever homes he built with his two hands for families to begin their life in. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing with his buddy from Budd Lake or adding to or maintaining his gun collection. Above all he loved his family. He showed his love mostly by teasing, he would tease his little sister, her kids, and her grandchildren. Eddie lost the love of his life Cynthia in 2020. Even with all he had been through with his grief and health in the past few years, occasionally and unexpectedly that silly sense of humor would poke through.

Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Cynthia, his daughter, Jennifer and his parents. He now looks to those to continue his memory, his loving sister Barbara Ann Leahy and her husband Edward. His adored nieces and nephew Dawn Corbett, Renee  Bertuglia, and Brian Leahy. His cherished great nieces and nephews Niki Streppone, Kayla Streppone, Kinslee Bertuglia, Anthony Streppone, Patrick Leahy, Daniel Leahy, Joseph Bertuglia and his great great nephew Cason.
