To My Uncle and Great Friend,
I remember the first day I met you, how kind your were, and how I felt comfortable with you right away. Years passed, you married my aunt and one of my best friends, and we also became great friends. You were always such a kind, supportive, compassionate, and empathetic uncle.
Thank you also for teaching me about wine, cooking, Portuguese heritage and traditions, and introducing me to so much amazing music. Cooking, pairing wine, and dancing in the kitchen will forever be with me and will always be some of my favorite memories.
I thank you for not only being a great uncle but also for being my FRIEND! It meant to me so much knowing I could call you at anytime or come over at a moments notice and that meant so much to me.
Again, I am grateful to have had you as my friend and uncle and in my life.

Anyone who knew Agostinho knows how much he adored his wife, kids and grandkid.
He was an exceptional man, very sweet, caring and loving. He welcomed me to his home and family when I was going through hard times last year. We will all miss him terribly, but it’s impossible not to smile when we think of him, especially on big occasions when he was in the kitchen preparing his amazing Portuguese food specialties for all of us to enjoy.
