Dear Bella Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Joe. He was a good and kind man whose efforts to help so many others will not be forgotten. The Joey Bella Memorial Fund has not only helped so many families in need but also gave many others a sense of purpose and belonging. My mother Sharon served on the board for many years and took great joy in helping fulfill its mission. She and I extend our deepest sympathies to your family at this difficult time.

I'll will miss you my friend. Will never forget our times together in St Mary's with our close knit Bingo crew. I remember you riding up my road ( way up) with no problems. Darn I was impressed, didn't believe it at first but eventually impressed! Wish I had one more moment with you. Be at peace...

Dear Cindie and family,
My mom, Kathy Covert, and I are so very sorry to hear of the sudden loss of your husband, father etc. We will always be grateful to you both and the many volunteers for all you’ve done to help me and countless others who benefited from the Joey Bella memorial fund. I can only imagine the reunion that is going on in heaven and hope that you may be comforted in knowing that his spirit is with you always and you will reunite with him, Joey and all of your loved ones again. God bless.

I first met Joe via a FaceTime call with Michael. He was in his shop showing me the different types of wood he used for cutting boards as I enjoy woodworking too. Little did I know at the time Joe would make me a beautiful cutting board and mail it all the way to Arkansas. I didn’t know him very well but when I met him in person at Michael and Lia’s weeding I could just tell he was a very kind and loving man. I know he will be missed greatly. Many prayers for the family.

Joe was a great friend who I was so fortunate to meet and have as a big part of my life. His presence at the Table of Knowledge at Smart World in Denville brought joy to all who got to know Joe. Enjoyed many food adventures too with Joe through the years with pizza being a center point of our food passion. Pictured below is a highlight of a trip a few of us made to Wrigley Field a few years back with baseball and food at the core of the trip plus of course camaradie. Joe truly loved his family and is so proud of his girls. Joe will be missed by so many. His passing leaves a huge void. Our hearts go out to Cindie and the family! We miss you Joe!!

Dear Bella family, you all mean so much to us. We are saddened to hear about Joe. But also gladdened because a man like him must certainly be on his way to Heaven and Joey is there to receive him and hug him. The funeral service is on our departed Elizabeth’s birthday, Dec. 20th. Without Joe and all of you and the Joey Bella Fund we might not have had our time with our Angel Elizabeth on Earth. God Bless you all. Please reach out to us if you need anything. You are always in our prayers. Love, Mike, Carolyn, Mary, Emily and baby Elizabeth McGuire
