We were so fortunate to have Sadie as part of our family. We shared an amazing couple, Jackie and Drew. She was so blessed to be able to say goodbye to loved ones, and stay in her home to be cared for by a loving family. I have so many wonderful memories of her…a thanksgiving dinner at her home where she had lots of family, and we all sat a a long table in her kitchen. We were crowded but that was part of the fun. she made us feel so welcomed. She showed me her pantry in her basement, and all I could think of was , this would make a great little general store. She will be missed by so many people. What a life, filled with love and laughter.l

Sadie, you were always a very welcomed guest at our family gatherings. Thank you for the laughs. When I think of you, I’m always touched by your ability to remember things about people. It is truly a thoughtful gesture to show that you really listen. And you remembered everyone. Even if you hadn’t seen them in years. It was truly remarkable.

When I think of Aunty Sadie it is always with
a smile and a feeling of such warmth in my heart. I loved her sense of humour, words of encouragement, and her energy. She was my favourite FB pal, and I loved when she’d tell me stories about ‘our Benny,’ her brother, my dad. What a great family she came from, strong, enduring and united. Farewell Dynamic Sadie G. Thank you for all the marvellous memories. Much love to Mark, Drew and families.

In the grand tapestry of life, Sarah shone brilliantly with her humor, brimming kindness, and remarkable bravery. Her personable nature made her a beacon of joy to many, especially within the Mt Olive Seniors community. May we hold tight to these memories as we seek solace and comfort during this distressing time. The void left by her passing is profound.

Sadie was one of the first people I met when I joined the Mt. Olive Senior Club. At that time she was still playing bocce and had an incredible throw and accuracy of the ball. She was so knowledgeable about the club, having been a long member. Sadie was incredibly kind, compassionate, and loving. She always had a sparkle in her eyes. She always talked about watching “ her birds” on her porch and fending off the squirrels. Her family and her homeland of Scotland were always very special. She will be greatly missed by all. ❤️❤️

I along with my family, Denise, Lauren and Eliot were so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time with Sarah, and for her to visit our home in England. A very special lady. RIP.

What can I say about sadie. I met Her at the mount olive senior club. It was always laughter her funny stories of Scotland and how she came to America we became friends and her smile always lit up the room. she was my hero knowing how much she had been through fighting for years the cancer. Never ever complaining she came for lunch but she would put the meatballs in a bag to take home to the dogs I will miss sadie in this world and I hope I meet her in the next God bless. Margaret

You were the sunshine at our table. Your laugh, smile and stories were the highlight of the day. Going to miss you playing bocce. Will be surely missed at our Senior club meetings. Having gone through what you went through and staying strong was a sign of an incredible woman. You deserve your final rest. God Bless you my friend.
