Obituary of Denise Jecmen
Denise Jecmen (Skorynko) passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover, NJ on July 30, 2023, at the age of 71. Born in Newark she spent most of her life in West Orange before moving to Mt. Arlington, Parsippany and then to Dover just over a year ago.
Denise worked alongside her husband Raymond Jecmen as Co-Owners of Contemporary Plumbing, Inc. in West Orange, NJ for many years before retiring in 2000. In her spare time, Densie enjoyed auto racing, as well going to the local circuits such as Watkins Glen and Lime Rock, at a time when her husband and his brother had their own racing team. She also was an avid New York Yankees fan as well as voracious reader of Robert Paterson mystery books.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 24 years, Raymond Jecmen, as well as her sister Diane Birnie in 2011. Denise is survived by her loving son Richard and his wife Sarah of Randolph, her cherished grandchildren Andrew and Nate Jecmen of Randolph, her twin sister Dorothea Ganley of Denville, her sister Deborah, and her husband John Titterton of Randolph, as well as her nieces and nephews Ryan Ganley, Carrianne Ganley, Dennis Titterton, Daniel Titterton, and Julie Harr.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 4, 2023, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. A prayer service will be held at the funeral during the visitation hours at 3:30PM. Memorial donations can be made in the memory of Denise Jecmen to The Dwelling Place at St. Clare`s Hospital by way of www.inmemof.org.
