Olga and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing.
I have many memories of time spent with Joe(and Olga) in dear Marco Island. It is hard to imagine Florida without Joe. I think of the many stories told and retold by Joe! What fun John and I had sitting for hours at the pool at Sandcastle. I think of how proud Joe was when the Family would visit and more stories would be told. I think of the lunches that were shared around the pool.
Joe was, indeed a "special person" who gave generously of both his time and food that was so carefully and successfully prepared.
Olga, you were a perfect match for Joe and you both knew it!
I know how hard it is to lose your lifelong partner, Olga.
But I also know that you will have the strength to go on surrounded by your loving family.
I will never forget the time we shared with both you and Joe, and the kindness you showed both of us,
Much Love.
Judy

We first met Joe 20 years ago at Sandcastle where he and Olga treated us like part of their family and we thought the same of them. Joe was always welcoming, engaging, humorous and the best Italian cookie maker ever. We will miss Joe's visits to bring freshly baked cookies and warm, interesting, and humorous conversation.
Our love and prayers are with Olga and the family.

When I first met Joe it was on a visit to New York after Dave and Michelle were engaged. We went to Little Italy for dinner. He was such a classy guy he said when we were in New York they would be paying for dinner and when they were in California we could buy dinner. He taught me that night how when you are in a good restaurant you don't order you just ask the Chef to prepare what he would like to serve us. Joe is just the perfect gentleman. Because we were in New York for all the grandkids events Joe and I decided to split the dinner bills. I always appreciated his warm embrace and kiss on the cheek. He will be remembered in high regard. Alexis

Joe, thank you and Olga for always making us feel so welcomed whenever we came to visit. You were a true gentleman and you had a way of making one feel very special. Your smile would light up a room as you prepared one of you delicious gourmet meals, as you so loved to do. I pray you are now smiling in heaven. Rest in peace my dear cousin. You will be greatly missed!

The thing I liked best about Joe was how special he always made me feel. From the first time I met him and he told me how happy he was that Michelle and her family would now be part of David's and their family. Over the years whenever we were together he would express how much he enjoyed our friendship. This past Christmas we were a team at one of the family games and even though we only got one answer right we had a great time laughing and trying to convince the other players that we should get some points points for forgetting more then they would ever know. The other thing I loved about Joe was the way he loved his family, especially Olga. He was a wonderful role model for us. Barbara

Mr. Panetta holds a special place in my heart. He was a good example of how to be a great man. He succeeded professionally and more importantly personally.
One of my most cherished memories was of him showing me how to plant impatiens flowers in the yard in GC. I still think about him whenever I plant!
