It took me a long time to be able to write this. It seemed impossible to live without a joe and Dianne but joe did seem to be quite the uncle …
Joe loved life …took the time to do inner work had a lot of trauma but you wouldn’t know it … smiles for days even on the rainy ones and does everything for everyone …I know he cherished things because he saw death for what it was and accepted only things that r important like our time he never liked to waste it … spending it with the ones he loved the most.
Joe and dianne have open doors with good food some drinks and music and love and that love came in conversation. I do believe I as well as many others could talk to them about anything with no judgment at all and all they did was help.…so much love.
I have been effected by Joe and Dianne and so have nick and Sean and the neighbors and the friends and I think when we look at the world now we see it with less color and it shouldn’t be like that …. Because I realize now what I miss the most is the conversation and the light at the end of the tunnel that they always described we would find and it isn’t light you know .. sometimes it’s heavy sometimes it is just a silver lining …. But they gave it to you raw you know .. and with wine and coffee and food of course.. my and aunt and my uncle were the definition of comfort.
My aunt loves my uncle beyond time and space he felt her everyday and as much family as we were none of us could love him the way Dianne does. I myself have witnessed relationships today and to be honest I have never seen one like Joe n Dianne’s and when I think about my family’s core. The one thing we did right through all the years and time and space was love each other.
Life is not easy in fact it is abstract. Sometimes we only see what is amazing after is gone. If anything this is a warning … a warning of wasting time or energy on things that don’t need it. Focus on what you believe you can do better. Be genuine. Accept gods law. Be positive…. Realize that we all have a purpose and the worst thing yu can do is not try to fulfill that. Life is so very precious.
Thank you

Joe and I were longtime members of American Legion Post 390. He and his wife Diane and my wife Sharon served on the monthly breakfast committee for many years. We worked together on other committees. When Joe was the Post Commander I was his Senior Vice Commander. Joe put his heart and soul into the Post. He was a great friend and comrade at the Post. I was sorry to hear of his passing. May he Rest In Peace.
