Obituary of John Stevens
John “Tommy” Stevens passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in Hopatcong on Saturday, February 18, 2023. He had shared 60 years of incredible memories with family and friends.
Born in Denville to Jack Stevens and the late Patricia Stevens, he was one of three children to bless their household. Raised in Mount Arlington, Tommy graduated from Roxbury High School, as an 11th grader, in 1979. Tommy went on to become a self-employed HVAC Technician. He was a very smart man; a self-taught car enthusiast, Tommy loved tinkering around on cars. His pride and joy was any Dodge vehicle and his passion was making them as loud as possible. Although he was taken from this earth too soon, we take comfort in knowing that he is safe in Heaven with his Mom and other family members that have passed before him.
He leaves joyful memories to his adored son, Jack Thomas Stevens; his loving father, Jack (the late Patricia) Stevens; his caring sisters, Dana Genovese, and Christa Dulio and her husband Joseph; and many dear nieces, a nephew, extended family and friends.
All services will be private. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Tommy here to continue to let his light shine.
