Obituary of Suzanne Lois Rock
Today, August 8th, 2022, we lost our shining light with the passing of our beloved mother and best friend, Suzanne Lois Rock.
She was born on September 12, 1935 to Edward Maximillian and Marion Vera Schenke. Spending many of her childhood years on a farm in Maryland, Suzanne developed a love for animals that would extend throughout her lifetime. She loved family gatherings and looked most forward to Summer BBQs and holiday get togethers, she was an amazing listener; lending an ear whenever needed but never judging anyone, was a loyal friend to many, an avid reader, she loved a good Chinese buffet, and was an aficionado of Riblets and all that was chocolate.
She is predeceased by her parents, brothers William and Frederick and sister Marion J. Schenke, Survived by her 3 loving daughters, Kim Suzanne Hatch, Cindy Lou Drain, and Patricia Rose Rock. 8 cherished grandchildren, Kristina, Christopher, Bryan, Dana, Pierce, Amanda, Hunter, and Brandon. 3 precious great-grandchildren and a very special niece, Jeanne Warth.
