Obituary of Diane Gooding
Diane Gooding (Heaney) passed away at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ, on June 17, 2022, at the age of 62.
Born in Paterson, she spent most of her life in Montville, NJ with short 3-year period spent in Florida.
Diane went to St. Leo’s Elementary School, then graduated from Montville High School , then attended cosmetology school and worked as hair dresser for His & Hair Salon in Denville, NJ for 27 years. She had a special spark to her and was always the life of any party she attended. She believed in following her dreams at heart, to be happy and live every day as if was your last. As a teenager she loved to drive around in Camaro, and as an avid lover of music, she liked to follow bands, go see live music and sing along to anything she heard.
She was predeceased by her parents William Joseph and Frances (Giannaula) Heaney.
Diane is survived by her loving children Ryan and Raven Gooding, both of Lake Suzy, FL.
She is also survived by her siblings Doreen Deckenbach of Montville, William and his wife Christie Heaney of Pine Brook, and Denise Iemmello of Montville, NJ. She is also survived by her Nieces and Nephews Courtney Callaghan, Thomas J. Deckenbach, Taylor Deckenbach, Nicholas Heaney, Joseph Heaney, Samantha Heaney, Jager Iemmello, Jesse Iemmello, Jace Iemmello, Marley Iemmello and her great nephew Jackson William Callaghan.
Visitation will held on Wednesday June 22, 2022, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 23, at 10:00AM at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church 24 Changebridge Road Montville, NJ 07045.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey by way of inmemof.org.
