Obituary of Geraldine Joan Carson
Geraldine Carson passed into eternal rest on March 31, 2022 in St. Clare’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. “Gerry” was born and raised in Jersey City, daughter of Joseph and Pat Faber. She had lived in Denville since 1974 where she lovingly raised her family. Gerry was a member of St. Mary’s Parish.
Gerry Carson’s family was her whole life. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Her caring and selfless ways were extended to all with whom she came into contact.
Gerry was predeceased by her husband, Dave, and is survived by her daughter, Marlene Lupo and her husband, Tom, her son, David Carson, and her cherished grandsons, Alex and Derek Lupo. Gerry is also survived by five of her six siblings, Patricia McCarthy, Barbara Romaine, Maureen Nigro, Margie Telmosse and Suzanne McCormack. Her brother, Joseph Faber predeceased her. Also among her survivors are a large number of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 7th from 4 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 8th at 1 pm at St. Mary’s Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Morristown. Memorial Donations are being accepted in Gerry’s memory to either the Denville Fire Department or the American Cancer Society by way of www.inmemof.org to ensure receipt of your donation. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Gerry here to continue to celebrate the incredible life she bestowed upon us.
