I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Miniter on many occasions due to my friendship with his son Paul. He was always welcoming and easy going…always. Just a sweet man. His wonderful family is a testament to the great man he was.

The Miniters and the Maguires shared so many happy times and memories over the years. Four wonderful children, who grew up and went through the RT and Knolls school systems together. Many happy days at our suburban homes in Rockaway.
Dick's infectious smile and laugh will never be forgotten.
We will miss Dick. So will the world.

Although our time with Dick was very short, it was quickly evident that he was a gracious, kind and caring man. We send our sincere sympathy to Katherine and family and may Dick rest in peace forever remembered by all those who were blessed to know him.

I never met Dick…in fact I did not know him at all. I only know of him through the wonderful stories and memories shared of him by his son Paul. If as they say “The apple never falls from the tree”, then I know without a doubt that Dick must have been an incredible man…just as his son Paul is. Sending prayers to the family. - Doug Laher (Dallas, TX)

Dearest Pop,
I felt so blessed to have the opportunity to say goodbye. I thought that holding your hand, reliving wonderful memories, and telling you how much you meant to me would somehow ease the pain of losing you.
I was wrong.
The lessons of love, strength, and family that you and Nana have taught your children and grandchildren will last for generations. You treated me like a daughter, sharing your wisdom, love, and unfailing support. You were our cheerleader, our compass, our faith, and our anchor. Your wit, dry humor, and thoughtful honesty are sorely missed. From gardening to Downton Abbey, home renovations to business acumen, I will truly miss our conversations. I long to share one more glass of good wine; one more bowl of corned beef and cabbage; one more laugh as you tell Paul and I to “stop kissing, it’s almost Sunday.”
Yours was truly a life well-lived and well-loved. You will, always and forever, be one of my very favorite people. Until we meet again, “May God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
Always,
Kim
