Obituary of Andrew Stephen Fullerton
Andrew S. Fullerton, 74, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022, at St. Claire’s Hospital in Dover, NJ
Andrew was born in Kansas City, MO before moving to New Jersey at a young age. After graduating from Sparta High School, he worked for the Morris County Park Commission before joining the ranks of
the Morris County Park Police as a Police Officer. He would eventually earn the rank of Sergeant before retiring in 1993 after 30 years of service. Andrew was a proud member of PBA Local #264.
He made the most out of enjoying a long retirement by being an active father to his daughter, Sunny. He spent many years coaching youth softball teams in Rockaway Borough and was the President of the Rockwood Condo Association. Andrew was a passionate fan of the Mets and Jets, vintage cars and planning the annual family pilgrimage to Disney World. Most recently, Andrew spent his days as a loving Grandfather to Olivia and Declan making some of his favorite memories.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Bruce Fullerton; his mother, Winifred Ellen Glasgow Reeder Fullerton; and sister, Francis Faye Fullerton.
Andrew is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Gloria Sullivan; loving daughter, Margaret Sunny and her husband Conor Devine; loving son, Sean and his wife Jennifer Sullivan; cherished grandchildren Olivia and Declan; and his brother, Robert Bruce and his wife Doris Fullerton II.
