Dear Patti:
It took me awhile to put this on the memory page, because I couldn't start it and didn't want to end it.
My mind was swimming with memories, too many to list. They are tucked away, now, in my heart and I will smile from time to time as I remember them.
You were so strong and determined during your lifetime. You had an "I can and I will" attitude and you always completed what you set out to do even it life made it difficult for you. When life knocked you down you got up with such strength and courage. When I was down, several years ago, and thought I would never get up again, you sent a card to me after your visited me at my home. The last sentence read "Every step you take, look ahead of you, my footprints will be in front of you. I will catch you when you fall as you did for me. Love you forever, Pat." That is my biggest memory.
I will continue to hold, in my heart, our love for sunsets at the beach. I would always send you a picture on my phone, of the sunsets here in Delaware. I won't send pictures anymore, I will simply look up and smile and wonder if your view is better then mine.
I love you, Patti, you can rest now.
Your sister (one of the three little ones) Meg

Dear Pat: We have so many memories: Longwood Gardens, Trexler picnics. Lehigh Valley Zoo, "My Fair Lady" at Muhlenberg College, "The Mystery of Irma Vep" at De Sales U, Hawk Mountain, the Sculpture Garden, Amish buggy rides, antique malls, the covered bridge tour, shooting sporting clays, Old Country Buffet, "Rosemary & Thyme", Iron Pigs games in sunshine & in rain, looking for planets, band concerts in the park. When you asked the doctor at Morristown Hospital to leave the room so you could discuss the idea of a heart transplant with your big sister; board games in the hospital while you recovered; weekend lunches together in hospitals & rehabs; working together in your vegetable garden when you came home. All the wonderful things you gave me through the years: the plant for my kitchen window on my 60th birthday, the fall wreath for my apartment door, many Easter decorations, DVD's and vases and pictures to decorate my place and a sweater and hats and scarves and gloves for Christmas. Moving you and your family to Hopi Trail the day after Christmas, Taking Paige & Taylor to Pocono Snake and Animal Farm, Trexler Zoo, and Space Farm together when they were little. "Lending" them to me for a week every summer from the time they were 4 and 5 years old. Jefferson Days. The pin from Disney world and the purse they asked you to buy for me. The Newark Museum exhibit on the moon landing that we went to when you were in grade school and the pin you bought for me in the souvenir shop. Sledding in the back yard at Hunters Ct. Sledding and Easter egg hunts at Memorial Field--remember when you found the golden egg & got your picture in the paper with the big chocolate bunny prize? And I am just getting started!!
My dear sister--rest now in peace with all our family who have gone before. I love you to the moon and back. I love you as far as the new Webb telescope will see into the universe. Kathy

Mansey Family,
I worked with Pat (in hindsight probably for her despite what the org chart showed) for about 15 years at Funai. As others have said Pat was “awesome” and “amazing”. She was a can do person, with a fiery but lovable temper. Pat always got the job done.
In later years when Funai people conversed, Pat was always one of the first we asked about. Thinking of Pat brings a smile to my face. She only had one gear … FORWARD!
We lost a good one.
Pat, I will see you on the other other side. Thanks for your friendship. God Bless!

We hear “Awesome” and “Amazing” a lot but Pat truly was Awesome & Amazing! Pat lived life to the fullest with energy and fun. Pat had a courageous spirit that never said “I can’t” and never gave up. Pat had a heart of gold that made soups for neighbors & friends; and she shared whatever she had. She made you feel comfortable in her home and part of her family. Pat was an inspiration to me and I’m forever blessed to call her my BFF. I’m picturing her dancing, riding bike, flying on a glider, gardening and cooking again in heaven. There is a brighter star in heaven now.
My heartfelt sympathy to her dear husband Steve, beautiful daughters, extended family & friends. You are in my heart and my prayers.

As the youngest in the family, each of my siblings have contributed, in their own way, to make me the person I am today. I wonder how much my dear sister Patti realized how much influence she had on me. I ran on the track team in grade school...entirely because Patti had done so (and had many trophies to prove it!). My first job was at Demarest Farm...I was drawn there seeing how much Patti loved working there before me. I even bought an FM car stereo for the family station wagon I drove. Why? Because Pat had such a cool FM stereo in her Chevy Chevette !! And I'll never forget how she took me out to the "beginner trails" when I was a teenager and taught me how to ski. And then, much later in life, she handled the challenge of getting a heart transplant -- never complaining, taking it all in stride as "just another challenge," and vowing to not let it affect the rest of her life. She unknowingly gave me the strength to face the same challenge, without fear, and with her as my role model. I can never forget that. I love you, Patti, and will miss you terribly. Rest in peace my dear sister...nothing can hurt you now.

Pat,
You left us too soon, but your spirit will live with us forever. In your life you touched so many people with your laughter, smile and love, not to mention your strength and courage. I will miss our times together you were always by my side whether it was in the park or antiquing. You may not be walking right beside me but you are right with me always in my heart. I miss you and love you forever, your sister and best friend Therese
