Oh Sweet Aunt Ev -
Thank you for being so good to my family. The woman is a saint. Saint Aunt Ev. I only have the most wonderful memories ... Homemade lasagna, crafting on the back porch, her ol dog KC, and fun times at the lodge. But anytime we were at the table - I would ask her to recite the Norwegian prayer that hung on the kitchen wall. She would do it with such joy. A sincerely beautiful woman. Love you Aunt Ev!! & Thanks :)

Evelyn always made me and my family feel so welcome at the Sons of Norway gatherings, in her bright and cheery way! Her involvement in the LOV summer camp gave my daughter Maude such a great childhood memory, and I will be eternally grateful to her for that!
rest in peace, dear Evelyn.

It’s billy Degnan I had the honor of knowing her and her family two ways being a firemen kid from company 5 and the New Year’s Day changing of the badges service and last year in the Nor Bu Lodge bowling league. You could tell she always wanted to make her spares and get some strikes. The league won’t be the same without her smile

The Merritt Waalberg family sends their deep condolences to Evelyn's entire family. You all know what a wonderful woman and inspiration Evelyn was. You may never truly know just how wide the ripples of her kindnesses in her life have stretched. I know that she made a huge impact on the lives of my children through her dedication to kids at Nor-Bu lodge and the Sons of Norway District 3 summer camp. Her contagious smile and huge heart will be missed but never forgotten. Hugs, Liz and the gang

I have so many memories with her when my children were young and we still lived in NJ. She was there for me when my family wasn't. She loved my kids and they have wonderful memories of times with her. She was loved. Thank you Aunt Ev for the love you poured into us when we needed it most. Love to the family. Peace.

Evelyn was the most giving soul I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She gave not only her time volunteering, but gave from her heart and truly cared about others. She was so proud of her Norwegian heritage and did everything she could to ensure that the traditions were learned and carried on by future generations. Her love for children will be fondly remembered by both campers and volunteers who attended youth camp at LOV. My heart goes out to you all.
