I was a classmate of Carolyn at Susquehanna University. We were friendly in college but unfortunately as things go I didn’t see her a lot since we graduated. But I remember Carolyn very well, as a beautiful person inside and out , very smart, and a sense of humor that I appreciated. I was very saddened to hear of her passing. There is comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven now. May God bless her children and all of her family and friends.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Your Video tribute captured Carolyn's joy for life and her happy ways. It was clear what made her happy: being a Loving Devoted Mother, Sister, Aunt, Daughter, Wife, and Friend. I have found that you can get through anything with LOVE. Carolyn left you all with much Love, and it is apparent that the Derrik, Harris, Huntley families have plenty of Love to hold each other up with. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
With Sincere Sympathy, Patty, Matthew, James, and Rachel Roberts

I was with Carolyn one evening a couple of weeks ago. As she was speaking, I was thinking to myself how beautiful she was. It wasn’t the way she looked (although she looked gorgeous), but her warmth, kindness, and something I just can’t put my finger on shone through her. She was a beautiful soul, gone too soon, and I will miss her. My deepest condolences to all who loved her.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of a great friend and client Carolyn Harrison Huntley . Carolyn became a dear friend since the starting of my business. She always looked on the bright side of things, even when they needed fixing! Carolyn was always recommending me to friends and family with great things to say about my work and I will always be grateful for the help in getting my business going. Carolyn you will forever be loved and missed.

My family and I moved from Chicago to New Jersey in October 2010 and we did not know anyone in the community. I remember thinking when I took my son to the bus stop, he would meet kids in the neighborhood, and I will meet some of the moms and hopefully we will each make a friend. Well things did not go as planned, because at the designated bus stop there were no other families at the stop. When the bus pulled up, 2 children from the house in front of the bus stop would run out of their house just in time to catch the bus. I was so disappointed that I was not going to meet anyone in the neighborhood. After doing this for a week, I noticed at the bus stop just before ours, there were two boys and a mom always outside early waiting for the bus. It took a few more days, but I decided to defy the “bus stop rules” and switch our bus stop without authorization. This was one of the best decisions I made because that is the day Josh (my son) met Gordon and Scotty and I met Carolyn. Carolyn became a wonderful friend; we would talk a little after the boys went to school and before I would go to work. After school, we would let the boys play and we would talk and sometimes have a glass of wine and on the weekends, we would always arrange something between everyone’s activities. Carolyn made New Jersey feel like home for me and I regret never telling her how much I appreciated her friendship. I will always remember her beautiful smile that lit up her eyes and the kindness she showed everyone she met. My family only lived in New Jersey for 1 ½ years but Carolyn and I kept in touch throughout the years, and she will be missed but always remembered.

Some of my fondest memories from Morris Knolls High School involved sweet Carolyn. She was beautiful inside and out. She and I were voted “best dressed” our senior year and I was honored to share that with her. We both played tennis for MK and laughed more on those teams than played sometimes. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family. Say hey to Kathy for me. RIP old friend.

How can you not think of Carolyn and smile? She always had a smile for everyone. Carolyn was so proud of Gordon and Scotty and so much a part of everything they did. Our time together in scouts and her unending ability to come up with ideas and games always made things fun. She had a way of putting people at ease and just making things better. We talked about our kids entering college, caring for parents, and no matter the challenge; she had an easy, friendly style and grace that was pure class and an example for all. Our deepest sympathies. Lost too soon.

My fondest memories of high school were the 4 years I spent with Carolyn, Kathy and Tiffany...(of course with big sisters Barb and Krissy)! Carolyn and Kathy were always laughing which was infectious. Although it has been so many years, I can still hear the laughter. In addition to being beautiful and well dressed, Carolyn had such an open, easy way about her. She attracted friends.
My prayers go out to her sons and family! I'm sure that she and Kathy are together again! Giggling away and hopefully hitting a few tennis balls!

We are heartbroken about the passing of Carolyn. A beautiful, sweet caring woman. She was such a big part of our family and so many memories of all of us together on so many, many occasions. She still kept in touch about her mom and we would catch up with all the family news. Prayers and love to all.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Carolyn was in my MK homeroom. Such a sweet person and always the best dressed (in fact, I think she was voted best dressed for the yearbook). Lost touch after high school but it sounds like she had a life full of love and laughter. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I met Carolyn when we worked together at Lucent. She was so beautiful (on the inside and out). She was smart and we worked hard but we also remembered to have fun. We did a group trip to NYC to have lunch, see the Christmas Tree and the play Chicago. I have a picture with her in front of the tree. We kept in touch over the years, mostly on Facebook but we recently connected a couple of weeks ago. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her beloved boys, mom, sister, brother and their families. I know how much family meant to her. May your wonderful memories comfort you. I will always remember Carolyn for her beautiful smile and sweet and loving personality. My sincere sympathies. Susan Lear

I wish with all my heart you could have stayed here longer with your family and friends but I know you are safe with your dad and Baci now. Love always Dawn
