Obituary of Ellen Margaret Stevenson
Ellen Margaret Stevenson (Ferguson) passed away at Troy Hills Center in Parsippany, NJ on September 11, 2021, at the age of 81.
Born and raised in Verdun, Quebec Canada, she came to the United States in 1975 and settled in Raleigh, NC before moving to New Jersey in 1984 where she lived in Long Valley, Montville, and Pine Brook before moving to Boonton, NJ in 2004.
She worked as a transportation coordinator for Skyline Auto Exchange in Fairfield, NJ from 1993 to 2008.
Ellen loved to play tennis, something she was very good at and played up until 2006.
She also loved needlepoint and music and she sang in the church choir.
She was predeceased by her loving son Mark Stevenson in 2020.
Ellen is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Bruce Barcley Stevenson of Boonton, NJ and her cherished grandchildren Alexandria, Emily, and Connor, as well as her daughter in-law Suprathra Stevenson of Denville, and also by her dear friend Betty Tilli.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 15, 2021, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM on Thursday September 16, 2021 at the funeral home.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the First Presbyterian Church of Boonton, NJ by way of inmemof.org.
