Obituary of Hope Gaeta Prior
Hope Gaeta Prior (DeVita) passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Tuesday September 7, 2021, at the age of 70.
Born and raised in South Paterson she had lived in Passaic before moving to Parsippany, NJ 20 years ago.
She worked at NJ Bell, and was an office manager and assistant for several dental offices before working at her real passion as a newborn photographer at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ before retiring in 2011.
Hope was very creative and loved arts & crafts as well as cooking and entertaining at her home. Her real passion was her babies, be that her daughter, her granddaughter, or the newborns she worked with at the hospital.
Hope is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, John Henry Prior of Parsippany, NJ as well as her loving daughter Brianne and her husband Dustin Hewitt of Boonton, NJ, and her granddaughter Jordyn Grace Hewitt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday September 12, 2021, from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 www.normandean.com. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 13, at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Totowa, NJ.
