Angie was such a wonderful classy lady, and will be missed by many. I was so inspired by her dedication to community service projects, her gardening projects at home and around the lake, and especially by her constant drive to keep on learning, even taking classes at the local college when she was in her 60s and 70s, and the book clubs that she joined as well. (well if i remember correctly!) She set a great example for many of us. We will miss her! Condolences from David and Jamie.

Your mother was a human dynamo! She was always ready to step in and help wherever it was needed. She made friends internationally wherever she traveled. My German cousins always asked for her and looked forward to seeing her again at the many conferences they joined. I remember her being so very even-tempered and always with a warm smile. The picture you posted on the flyer with her garden in the background is PERFECT. It is so Angie. Wally joins me in sending you our sincere condolences. Martha Venard

May she rest in peace in the arms of Lord who loved her with a wonderful and productive life of exceeding expectations and lifting all with whom she came in contact. Angie is the same age as my mother but with a very different history. My mother was illiterate but she shared much in common with Angie: love of walking, gardening, cooking, love of people, being neighborly, always learning and exploring. May her fortitude and grace perpetuate in her grandkids and great grands. Eternal rest grant unto Larry and Angie, O Lord.

Victor, Your mom always amazed me - such a strong woman for one so tiny! Her love and devotion for your dad was always so evident – she was his anchor, keeping him grounded in times of stress, always there at his side when he needed her – she would just show up magically at the office with her smiles and that distinctive laugh of hers. What I truly appreciated from both of them was the support they gave my wife and kids through the 38 years I have been here – they truly understood the importance of family. Rest in eternal peace Angie.

Victor, Angela and Olivia, I am forever grateful for Angie's kind welcome towards us when David and I first arrived in this country, 25 years ago. I was always in a little awe of her fortitude, graciousness, and stamina. She lived an amazing life! My thoughts and prayers are with you all today.
