Dear Elizabeth and Christine,
Much Love to you both. Your Mom was one of a kind. Her generosity of spirit, sense of humor, hospitality and seeing the potential in each of us was remarkable. I miss visits in your kitchen, Midnight Mass, the fellowship she created as a Director, her enthusiasm about Swim Team...
She adored you both. You were her greatest joy.
LOVE,
Sean

Such a lovely woman! I met Connie while she lived at The Oaks, and was a neighbor of my dad, Bob Zufall. We often saw her in the halls or at the Bistro. She always had a witty comment to make to my dad, like "Hey there buster! Stayin' out of trouble?" I know she is missed by everyone there!

She was my son's math teacher at Mt View School in Mendham and the teacher who visited him when he was hospitalized for a rough emotional patch as a young teen. She saw his potential and did not give up on him. He is now a PhD physicist with a career and family.
I hope Connie's family will be comforted to know that her gifts as a teacher and a warm human being live on and have enriched many of us.

I second my mom's memories of MANY fun dinners with Connie Shanley. Her sparkling kind blue eyes I will never forget or her many kindnesses and love she showed me over the years. Sending love to LIz and Christine.

My deep sympathy to Liz and Christine on the loss of their Mom. We shared many delicious, fun dinners with the Shanleys. One photo I saw recently included my son Andrew (now 51) and Liz in high chairs. Connie was always a friendly neighbor, and a good friend who was ready to share a laugh or sympathize with loss or problems.
Of course, she was known as a great party planner and a very generous hostess. I know she will be missed by
her girls and by her many friends.
With fond remembrance of Connie and the many wonderful years we shared on Howell Rd. in Mt. Lakes
