Uncle Den, I used to be annoyed whenever you’d pick on me but I would give anything for one more jab from you. Your love of dogs was always my favorite thing and the stories about you will stick with me forever. Rest easy and don’t cause too much chaos with Pop up there. Dad, Remembering our Saturday times together. Countless hours watching the planes at the airport, drives around town, arcades, hanging out at the bases Ft, Dix where I would meet my future husband, Eric, McGuire where you were stationed and Lakehurst with the cute Navy guys LOL but nothing was more fun than dragging you to the movies countless times to see that all time favorite of mine and sooooo not yours The Outsiders LOL oh how you hated that movie but took me and bought me the book. Read it over 33 times (yes I counted!) and the countless cheesesteaks from Franks. Again I thank you for the gift of my twisted sense of humor it has always gotten me through hard times like this. I will miss our chats on America's Got Talent, it will never be the same. I am so happy I got you into Harry Potter! I knew you would love it!!! I only wish you would have gotten this years Christmas gift I'm looking at as I type Drop Dead Fred! You would have LOVED this movie!!!!!!! But we shall see it together when I get there. Save a place for me, save some grace for me <3 Love you Dad, your Daughter

What can I say Uncle Den, I've followed your instructions to the letter, and then added some special touches meant for you, but especially to touch the hearts of those who love and adore you. If you have any say... try to keep it from raining on June 18th and 19th please. You might be my uncle in accordance to the worlds standards, but you were more like the older brother I never had... Ya tortured me one half of the time and were my confidant the other half. I know you thought I was off putting at times, good!, strong women stand up for themselves and speak their minds. I notice in the past few months that you seemed to have surrounded yourself with strong women. Never forget: "Hay for sale", the sign on the house you loved and the pun I made. First ride on your motorcycle and popping buttons on your shirt... "well she broke my buttons but at least she instinctively swivels her hips instead of leaning with the bike when I turn or take curves." Is what you told everyone. We had many awesome rides together... on and off your bike. The infamous lost radio flyer sled... Mea culpa! The time you wanted to pierce my ears "I hear you want your ears pierced, I'll pierce em... go stand against the wall and hold em out while I load my gun so I can shoot holes in em for you!" Christmases and Thanksgivings, your junk drawer gifts... red suspenders - red suspenders - who gets em this year? That big gold lounger... playing pinochle... shared secrets only you and I will ever know... your finger in he nose of the lion in front of space farm zoo... Dutches, Levy, Lynette, Morris, Madison and meow Lewellyn, Max and DeeDee. Rubber hammers and fire crackers and the raft............... so much more. The most valuable pieces of advice: "So what if they hate you, that's THEIR problem not yours! You've done more good for them than they have ever even thought of doing for anyone else combined." "You can do one of two things; you can kill those who wrong you, for which you will go to jail and never see your child, OR, you can really tick em off and frustrate em by ignoring em." "Always be able to own your faults, mistakes, and your perfections, its the trait that makes a person trustworthy." Rest well, tell everyone I send my love, give Dad a hug from me, and Gram a kiss.
