Obituary of Kevin F. Reilly
Kevin F. Reilly passed away suddenly in the comfort of his home in Sparta on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. He had shared 68 years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Born in Morristown to the late Frank and Mary Reilly, he was one of six children to bless their household. Raised in Denville, Kevin graduated from Morris Knolls High School, Class of 1970. He made a successful 40+ year career working as a Pressman for Redmond Press in Denville before retiring in 2006.
Kevin was a straight forward man; he enjoyed the simple things in life. Taking trips to Mantoloking, being on a boat with a fishing pole in one hand and a Busch Light in the other, collecting guns, listening to music – that is all Kevin needed to be happy. He was a kind man with a pure soul, which is hard to find these days. Although we are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is safe in the sky with his parents and sister, Patricia, who passed previously.
Kevin leaves many joyful memories to his adored siblings, Jim and his wife Margaret, Michael and his wife Laura, Peter and his wife Patricia, and Paul and his fiancé Gulay; his cherished nieces and nephews, Kathy, James, Jr., Jessica, Melissa, Emily, Nicole, Michael, Jr., Fallon, Michaela, Chad, Trisha, Lauren, Brynn, Kevin, Brianna, and Erin; and many more extended family and dear friends.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 10th from 5 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, June 11th at 10 am at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 15 Myers Avenue, Denville. Please leave a condolence, light a candle, and share your favorite memory of Kevin here to continue to celebrate the incredible life he endowed to us.
