Obituary of Margaret Catherine Carroll

Margaret Catherine Carroll (Monahos) passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ on May 30, 2021, at the age of 89.

Born in the Bronx, NY she had lived in Parsippany for more than 30 years before moving to Denville, NJ in 2020.

Margaret worked as a secretary for United Page in Paterson, NJ for more than five decades before retiring.

She enjoyed movies, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Margaret is survived by her beloved son Frederick Taylor Carroll, Jr. of Hixson, TN and by her loving granddaughter Ashleigh Hallett also of Hixson, TN and by her great-granddaughter Chloe Patton of Hixson,TX.   Margaret is also survived by her brother Joseph Fink and wife Mary of NJ,  brother Edward Fink and wife Donna of NJ.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Mary and her husband Laurence Polye of Riverdale, Pauline Fischer of Oak Ridge, Christine Smith of Lafayette, George Monahos of NC, Jeffrey Monahos of Myrtle Beach,  Christopher Monahos of PA, Janine Fink-Boyle of Washington, D.C., Melissa Fink-Ruisch of NJ, Kendra Fink of NJ.

Margaret is preceded in death by her Mother, Irene Fink and Father, Joseph Fink of NJ, brother, George Monahos, sister in law, Francis Monahos of NJ, and great-grandson, Christopher Patton of TN.
