I worked with and for Mike a very long time ago. He was one of the gentlemen in our department who was fair and always cared for others. He always had a smile for everyone.
I was with PSE&G (PSEG) for 52-1/2 years before retiring in 2017.
My sincere sympathy, prayers and my condolences.
May he rest in peace and may God bless his family.

Dear Diane and Family,
I have so many wonderful memories of Mike…far too many to list here. He and I started at CEA more or less around the same time. As he did with most other colleagues, Mike befriended me right away. Sometimes our world travels took us to places as a team. California was by far the most extensive of these trips as we both spent over year working on the peaker projects. But Mike had the distinction of accomplishing the "100 Megawatts in 100 days" feat.
Mike and I joked around a lot. If I was getting the better of him, he’d chortle and just say, “Ya know, John!” But nothing hit a nerve more than me asking, “So Mike, how’s your golf game?”
When I told Mike that I was considering early retirement, he first said, “You’re too young to retire!” But that mantra quickly became, “John, a company will just use you and abuse you, so do what you’re gonna do.” So Mike, I thank you for being a key person who helped nudge me into my life of leisure.
Times were especially good when Mike, Pete Maguire and I would get together. After Mike retired, we made it a point to meet from time to time for a meal. We’d share stories about what was going on in our lives. And of course, Mike always won the prize for having the ability to tell his stories in the most interesting manner.
We all miss him.

Dear Diane and the entire Costic Family.
It was my great honor to know Mike. We shared many great times together and even more laughs together. He always made my day better even during tough times Mike was always able to get a laugh out of me. He helped me understand the engineering and operational side of the power generation business while I helped him a little on the financial side. He was always there to answer my home improvement questions and to give advice sometimes being hands-on so that I could understand and install crown molding in our first house. He was also always willing to help me with my golf game which needed a lot of help.
Our third and youngest daughter is named after Keira as we asked Diane if we could use the name when she was born. We cherished the bath towel that you had made for her and she loved it.
My life was made so much better and richer by knowing Mike and having him in a part of my life.
May God bless your family during this time.

Dear Costic Family,
I have known Mike since 1994 and cherish his memory. We traveled together many times with CEA/PSEG Global. Mike was very competent in his field and was always such a happy gentleman, role model, and friend. It is for friends like Mike that we gather annually as CEA Alumni. He is and will be missed.
May God richly bless his memory for the entire Costic and PSEG family.
In Christ's love, Bob (Chester, NJ).
