Obituary of Robert Shanks
Robert William Shanks passed away at Newton Memorial Hospital on April 12, 2021.
Born in Bay Ridge, NY he had lived in Dover, NJ before moving to Andover 6 years ago.
Robert worked as a service manager at Gearhart Chevrolet in Denville, NJ for many years and then worked for Pride Towing for 10 years.
He loved classic cars and he loved his tow trucks.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen in 1986 as well as his Loving daughter Suzanne Groah in 2008 and his brother Alan “Al” Shanks.
Robert is survived by his loving children Beth Anne Shanks of Stanhope and Richard Shanks of Wharton, NJ as well as his grandchildren David Lang and Kathleen Lang.
