Obituary of Daphne Carol Landvik-Larsen
Daphne Carol Landvik-Larsen (Ansorge) passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 88.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she met and married her sweetheart Arne and moved to Lake Telemark, Rockaway Township, NJ where she would raise her 5 children.
Daphne worked for many years as a telephone switchboard operator for Bell Telephone in NY and then for NJ Bell and Verizon before retiring in 1999, where she was recognized for her exceptional service and an almost unheard of perfect attendance record. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Telemark and was a prominent member of the church choir for decades. Her favorite hymn was How Great Thou Art and her voice will be greatly missed in church. She ran Dolly's Room for years at the annual WELCA Christmas bazaar to great success, and gladly devoted her time to multiple church committees. She loved to bake, made the best Thanksgiving stuffing in the world and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. But her biggest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
Daphne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years Arne Landvik-Larsen in 2015.
She is survived by her loving children Deborah Joy Landvik-Larsen Fellner and her husband Michael, Arne Landvi-Larsen Jr. and his wife Annie, Judith Randazzo and her husband Eugene, Christopher Landvik-Larsen and his wife Kathleen and Link Landvik-Larsen and his wife Sophy. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kerri and Benjamin, Kristopher and Dannie, Stacey, AJ, Alexis and Matt, Zachary, E. Jarrett and Erin, Justin and Elizabeth, Jon-Erik and Erika, Erika, Shane, Christopher, Tanner, Harry, George, as well as her great grandchildren Kelcey Anna, Alicia, Michael, Patrick, Sebastian, Christian, Scarlett, Remington and Jackson and also by her sister June Hotte.
A memorial service for Daphne will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockaway Township at a date to be determined.
