March 11, 1952 - February 19, 2021

 

James Edward Fuhrman, age 68 of Denville, NJ went peacefully to the Lord on February 19, 2021.

 

James was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Lois Fuhrman. He is survived by his wife Monika Fuhrman; two children Doreen Fuhrman (Ike) and Christopher Fuhrman (Jenny), 2 grandchildren, his two brothers David Fuhrman of Collegeville, PA and Dennis Fuhrman of Catasauqua, PA.

 

James grew up in Collegeville, PA and attended Perkiomen Valley High School. He received his Masters of Science with honors in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University in 1977 in Philadelphia, PA and was a committed member and leader in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. After college, James began a 24 year career at BASF corporation as an Instrument and Control Engineer. 

 

On May 21, 1983 James married Monika and raised their two children in Denville, NJ. James and Monika were a part of a vibrant church life at Christian Center Church in Morristown, NJ from the late 1970’s until 2000 and most recently were members of Christ Church in Rockaway, NJ.

 

James was a smart, hard working, and a kind man putting the needs of others above himself. He was a loving and supportive husband and father, who had his faith in Jesus Christ his Lord.

 

Memorial Walkthrough Visitation will take place on Thursday, February 25th from 3 – 6 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 5 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. For anyone unable to attend and to keep the amount of people inside the funeral home to a safe number, please consider watching the service from the comfort of your home.
