Obituary of Richard Alan Kellett

Richard Alan Kellett, 85, Morris Plains

Richard Kellett passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living of Morris Plains on January 22, 2021.  Born in Montclair he grew up in Denville.  He lived in Rockaway Twp. NJ for 53 years before moving to Sunrise in 2020.  Richard graduated from Dover High School and began a long career in the newspaper business at The Daily Advance.  He then worked at two other local newspapers before retiring in 1995.

Richard was predeceased by his loving wife, Lewette. He is survived by a loving daughter Victoria and her husband Richard Noonan.  He also leaves a sister-in-law, Ruth Kellett, five nieces and nephews and his beloved neighbors in Rockaway.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
