Obituary of Vera Mascobi

Vera Mascobi (Kouttab) passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 80.

Born in Jerusalem, Israel she had lived most of her life in Bergenfield, NJ before moving to Stroudsburg, PA for 10 years and then to Denville, NJ for the last 5 years.

Vera worked as a Barista for some time, but she most enjoyed being a homemaker to her loving husband and son’s.  She loved to cook for her family and could often be found watching football on a Sunday afternoon.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, George Mascobi of Denville, NJ as well as her loving son’s, Elias and his wife Michelle Mascobi of Denville, NJ, Suleiman Mascobi of Denville, NJ and Issa and his wife Zahyra Mascobi of Bergenfield, NJ.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Nickolas, Valerie, Melanie, Savanna and George Mascobi as well as her sisters Louba and Janet and ALL her family members here and Jerusalem.  She will be sorely missed by many.
