Judith Ann Volosin passed peacefully on Thursday, October 22, 2020.  She shared 90 years of love and faith with her family and friends.  Private arrangements were held under the direction of the Norman Dean Home For Services, Denville, NJ.  Interment to take place at the Wm. Please share your memories here.  Her family will cherish them forever.

Judy was born in Cleveland, OH on a beautiful spring day in 1930.  She was one of 4 children to bless the Dixon family.  After her schooling she met Edward Volosin and the rest was history.  They married and settled in Middleburg Heights to start their family.  Judy was soon the proud and adoring Mother to four sons.  She and her husband worked hard to give the kids a good life.  She instilled strong values of family and education in all of them.  In her spare time, she enjoyed singing, especially in the church choir, community theater acting and was always staying up on current events.  She enjoyed her daily NY Times crossword puzzle, keeping the family supplied with stuffed cabbage rolls and poppy seed kuchen, and her new friendships at St. Francis residential community.

As the years passed she gained the title of “Nanny” to her many grandchildren.  This truly was her greatest joy.  She loved all of her grandchildren and spoke of them often.  She was recently crowned Great Nanny to two little ones and was over the moon to meet the newest addition to the family just 6 weeks ago.  Although we are saddened by her passing, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and watching over her family with love and pride.

She leaves behind beautiful memories to her children Kent (Rosemary), Dennis, Donald  (Jean) and Robert (Jennifer); her adored grandchildren Christopher Volosin (Leeann), Lauren Terzis (Patrick), Kelley, and Ryan Volosin, Nicholas Volosin (Kimi), Jessica, Danielle, Nicole and Robert Volosin; Dezi and Johnny DeFazio; her great grandchildren Sadie Lane and Nathan James; and many more dear relatives and friends.
