Obituary of Alexander Messier III

Please share a memory of Alexander to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Alexander “Alex” Messier III passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the comfort of his home in Nazareth, PA. Alex was 29 years young and has left world a better place than he found it. He was a father, husband, son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing we have the greatest guardian Angel watching out for us from above.

Alex leaves joyful and priceless memories to his beloved wife, Branndy; his adored sons, Gavin Messier, his Mom, Samantha MacKay, and Gabriel Messier; his devoted Mom, Sharon Messier and her partner, Philip Olversoy and Dad, Alexander Messier II and his partner, Denise Williamson; his loving brothers, Russell LaSalle and his husband, Konner Hinds, Sean La Salle and his wife Patricia, and Robert “Robbie” Messier; his dear father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Joycelyn Hilbert; his caring sister-in-law, Brittany Baker and her partner, Alexander Roscioli and brother-in-law, Devon Hontz; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and dear friends.

Born in Passaic, Alex was raised in San Diego, CA to Sharon (Rockwell) Messier and Alexander Messier II. He graduated from Emmaus High School in PA, Class of 2008 and he also graduated the Lineman class at NCC in PA, Class of 2016. He was a very hard worker and thoroughly enjoyed his career with The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union #126, in PA. Above anything else, his all-time favorite job was being a Dad to his two sons, Gavin and Gabriel. Alex had a dream to bring his sons to every state in America, just like he had almost done himself. He enjoyed spending time at the ocean, kayaking, hiking, skateboarding, taking long bike rides, and making spicy meals that were painful to eat. He couldn’t wait to share all of these things and more with his boys, Gavin and Gabriel. He had a deep appreciation, admiration, and respect for his family, who always came first in his life, even though he wouldn’t think twice to help a stranger, or anyone in need.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th from 4 - 8 pm with Funeral Service beginning at 7:45 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Memorial Donations will be accepted in his memory to his childrens' education fund, details to follow. Please leave a condolence, share your favorite memory of Alex, and light a candle to continue to celebrate the incredible life he endowed to us. Alex will be forever missed and always remembered in our hearts and souls.
